Quote from the Winner
In my 2nd year of PA school, on my first rotation in family medicine, my clinical preceptor had told me that "anyone can learn medicine, but you can't teach attitude". Your role as a PA learner and ultimately a practicing PA does not rely on you "just being a body, there to do the work". How you show up every single day matters too. Your attitude and energy is what makes you memorable on clinical rotations, and stand out to potential employers. This includes your enthusiasm for learning and practice of medicine, care and attentiveness to detail, your professionalism, humility, and the kindness you show people you encounter on your journey to becoming a PA, whether this be your peers, clinical instructors, preceptors, or mentors.
