Biography

Dr. Everton Nicholas is currently an active staff in the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, at Toronto East Health Network, as well as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Toronto. Previously, he was the Head of the Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism at Toronto East General Hospital for a decade.

About the Award

This award recognizes sustained (normally 10 years) excellence in community-based teaching, and may include mentorship, the integration of scholarship in teaching and interprofessional collaboration.

Established by the Faculty of Medicine in 2012 these awards recognize the significant contribution of an increasing number of University of Toronto community-based teachers to the learning of medical students and residents.
