Biography
Dr. Robert Madan attended medical school at the University of Western Ontario and completed his psychiatry residency in psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Madan has the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada designation of Geriatric Psychiatrist. He has been on staff at Baycrest since 2003 and is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Madan was in the first cohort of the Education Scholars Program and was the inaugural program director for the Geriatric Psychiatry Subspecialty Residency Program at the University of Toronto. Dr. Madan is the Psychiatrist-in-Chief and Deputy Chief of Staff at Baycrest, and is involved clinically in long-term care consultation, and outpatient psychiatry. His academic interests are in the areas of medical education and dementia.
