Daphna Grossman MD CCFP(PC) FCFP
Associate Professor
Excellence in Community-Based Teaching (Community Hospital)
Medical Education Awards
From the Nomination
"As a role model, Dr. Grossman is nothing short of amazing. Her compassionate approach to patient care, treating individuals as people rather than merely patients, is inspiring. She models how to be an earnest patient advocate."
"She also has one of the most engaging teaching styles of any teacher in recent memory. Her enthusiasm for teaching is infectious. During long clinical days, she always prioritized time at the end of each day to discuss at least one ‘learning moment’. She approached these conversations with the humble posture of a learner herself while treating myself as a colleague."
