Biography
Dr. Andrea Doria received her medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Parana, Brazil, and did her training in Pediatrics and Radiology at the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil. She then received a PhD in Medical Sciences from the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil. She moved to Canada to pursue a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology and obtained a Master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto. Recently she received an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, U.S.A., with certificates in Data Analytics, Healthcare and Sustainability. Her clinical, research and educational interests relate to the implementation of innovative analytic methods, processes and strategies that can improve clinical practice, to the development of evidence-based best practice guidelines that can lead to excellence of patient care, and to the translation of science and technologies into practices that can transform healthcare delivery. Dr. Doria embodies the scientific and humanistic spirit of promoting professional growth through the education of the new generation of leaders in healthcare.
