From the Nomination
"Chan made me so optimistic for what my future career as a PA could look like. Physicians, nurses, and allied health workers sought her opinions regularly and frequently told me how lucky I was to have her as a preceptor. It was clear she was an integral and well respected member of the team. The patients and their families were always so grateful for the care she provided and appreciated the updates she would give them. I learned so much from Chan during my Internal Medicine rotation and definitely consider her a role model for the type of PA I hope to become."
