Dalia Karol MD

Biography

Dr. Dalia Karol is currently a 3rd year Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto and completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Karol is passionate about medical education and is involved in teaching, leadership, and research in the field. Dr. Karol is on the board for the Canadian Association of Medical Education Foundation, and is a member of the program advisory board for the International Conference on Medical Education. Dr. Karol has collaborated on and published medical education research in a variety of subjects, including feedback, health advocacy, and mentorship. Dr. Karol is currently working on a longitudinal quality improvement intervention to improve communication skills of OBGYN Residents. Dr. Karol further mentors learners in her role as the national co-secretary of the Federation of Medical Women of Canada. Dr. Karol has been dancing for 20 years and continues to take dance classes with the national ballet school of Canada.
