Adina Weinerman MD, FRCPC

Biography

Adina Weinerman is a staff General Internist and the Medical Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (SHSC). Her research and quality improvement efforts focus on both teaching and education and implementation and measurement of resource stewardship initiatives. She co-led a resource stewardship communication toolkit for the Royal College. She is the Chair of the Canadian Society of Internal Medicine Choosing Wisely Committee as well as the physician lead of the Choosing Wisely Committee at SHSC. Dr. Weinerman is also the co-lead of the Using Labs Wisely collaborative which Choosing Wisely Canada will launch in Fall 2022.
