Biography

Dr. Edsel Ing completed his medical school and ophthalmology residency at the University of Toronto followed by fellowships at the Mayo Clinic, Wills Eye and Allegheny General Hospital.
He has a Master of Education from Johns Hopkins, a text on medical education https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/1129809, a PhD in diagnostic prediction models from Kingston University, an MPH in epidemiology from Harvard, a Master of International Affairs & Diplomacy through the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, and an AACSB MBA from LSUS.

Edsel works at the Michael Garron and Sunnybrook Hospitals, and is a Professor at the University of Toronto DOVS. He is a member of the Canadian Ophthalmologic Society Working Group on equity, diversity and inclusion, a Director at Large for the World Association of Medical Editors, and was recently appointed to the Fellowship Affairs Committee at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
