Program Details
The Medical Psychiatry Collaborative Care Certificate (MP3C), a continuing education program encompassing foundational, clinical & skill building and team & project based modules to support learning in integrated mental and physical collaborative care. The program aims to provide education resources for health care providers, and their teams, to be better equipped to prevent, assess and manage patients with co-existing mental and physical health needs.
Modules are designed for all health care providers as well as managers and administrators in primary care, hospital and community settings who work with patients and families to address complex care needs in physical and mental health.

MP3C's online platform is highly interactive and provides equitable access for a large number of diverse health care professionals to gain skills and tools to address the med-psych needs of the patients.
About the Award
This award was named to honour Dr. Fred Fallis, the first Assistant Dean in Continuing Education in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto (1982-1985) and one of the founders of Telemedicine for Ontario, which later became Telemedicine Canada. The award is available annually and recognizes an individual or group which has demonstrated innovation and excellence in online learning for health professionals.
